I have practiced depth psychotherapy for 25 years, studying traditional theory and practice at Wesleyan and Antioch Universities.  I have postgraduate training in body oriented gestalt therapy, self psychology, women’s developmental theory, feminist therapy, and Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy.

I have studied Wise Woman healing and Women’s Spirituality for 20 years, in intensives, tutorials, apprenticeships, and Mystery School.  I have studied with various teachers, most intensely with Vicki Noble and Deena Metzger.

        With Deena I have studied the spiritual practice of carrying the questions that were given to me to carry, of trusting the existence of Spirit and divining the voice of Spirit through story.  With Vicki I've explored the deep history of Women’s spiritual practice and the Dakini in Tibetan Buddhism.  Since 2007 I've been studying the Prajna Paramita and Chod Tibetan practices and the Feeding Your Demons method with Lama Tsultrim Allione and her students.

        From all the deep divers I've known, whether they be formal teachers, wise colleagues and friends, animals, Spirits, dreams, or beloved writers and poets, I've acquired a Shamanic attunement to life for which I am grateful.  As I enter my seventh decade, I will continue to study and practice in support of the work that calls to my heart, that of the Mysterious Wild Web we live in and that lives in us.
